Moving On

This weekend completely sucked. Because the roster person had made a stupid mistake and hadn't checked, I was rostered on at work to finish at 2am this morning, and then start again at 9am. On top of that I've been really sick all weekend. Fortunately another manager came in early today and I was able to leave at 10.30. I came home and spent the last 4 hours in bed.

Before I left work today though I wrote out and handed in my resignation. They'll see it tomorrow. After that I expect I will probably get a phone call or something asking to discuss it. They've been trying to get another manager to stay, so they'll probably try to get me to as well.

It feels SO good though knowing I'm leaving that place! I've been wanting to get out for so long, and now I finally am. I'm going to start looking for an engineering job, but until I get one I'm going to enjoy being an unemployed bum :D
