Time Out to Party
How do you remove spray paint from a concrete floor? There are several ways, one of which is to pour thinners on it and then scrub as hard as you can. However when you get sick of that way, you can try another way, pioneered by Liam and I when we were cleaning up his garage for his party last week. This way simply involves pouring thinners on the paint, then setting it on fire. The heat hardens the paint, making it easier to scrap off. Here's a video from the first night. Then on Friday night was Liam's 18th party. It was a good night. No fights (unlike his 16th which was slightly bigger), good music, although everyone ran out of alcohol by about 1am which was quite funny.
Then Saturday night a bunch of us old friends from Berkeley took Liam clubbing. I might upload a photo or two if or when I get some. It was my first time clubbing too (I've been into town several times but never gone clubbing - how weird is that) and I have to say it was a very good night! For those of you who know that I don't get drunk when I drink - well you missed seeing me that night. I wouldn't say I was drunk so much as pushing the limits of tipsy. In fact I don't think any of us actually got drunk that night.
The funniest part was when this chick came up to us and started dancing with us. Most the girls had gone to visit the bathroom, so it was just us guys at that point. She came up to us and started grinding against Kerry. The expression of horror on his face when she grabbed his ass was priceless! She then moved around the circle to Liam, but when she came up behind him he ran off to the other side of the circle and hid behind Shaun. I was next in the circle but I was beside and slightly behind a massive fan, so she couldn't reach me. It was so funny. I think the alcohol made it even funnier :P
So it was a very good weekend. I don't think I'm going to be going clubbing all that often though - it gets pretty expensive. Sunday was a bit of a bummer - I had to finish an assignment that I've just come back from handing in at uni.
