Since we opened (December 2004), the 5 most popular movies in terms of amount of money made are:

1. King Kong
2. Narnia
3. Star Wars III
4. Harry Potter 4
5. World's Fastest Indian

World's Fastest Indian was also our longest running movie, running for about 4 months (about twice as long as any of the others in the top 5). We were also the number 4 most popular cinema in the country behind:

1. Reading Cinemas Wellington
2. Village Cinemas Queen St
3. Village Cinemas St Lukes

In terms of tickets sold, the top 5 are:

Lol that's pretty much exactly how I live (most the time). It's so true. Things really do work out ok even when you don't haemorroid over them. And even if they don't, so what if something doesn't go exactly the way you want it? What does the little stuff matter so long as you have friends and family and somewhere to call home?

And the future really doesn't need all the worry that most people give it. We really don't need to stress about upcoming events and appointments. I know it's cliched, but don't get so caught up in the future that you miss out on the present. The future is its own concern. What will happen will happen and all you can do is take it as it comes. Meanwhile, today is here to be enjoyed for its own sake. The little things will take care of themselves.

I suppose you could call it the ultimate optimistic attitude. If I had to offer advice to anyone starting out in life, my advice would be "you'll be fine." (Unless you get so caught up in trying to make things work that you actually stop them from working).

Things in life work better when left to themselves.
