Jury Duty

I got summoned to do jury duty at the Manukau District court for all of week 9 of this semester!



Needless to say I'll be trying to get out of it - I can't afford to miss an entire week of uni! And I have a compulsory lab that week as well as assignments and stuff due during the week.





Stupid.




Lol on the part of the form that describes various reasons you can use to get out of it they give the reason "part of a sect ... that doesn't believe in trial by jury." I can't think of any sects or groups that are opposed to a jury...
