Total Eclipse
This seems to be a good time to write a post. As I type this the moon is slowly getting darker. In about half an hour, at about 8.50, it'll start entering the Earth's umbra - the bit where the Earth completely covers the sun.
Between 9.50 and 11.20 it'll be completely in the Earth's shadow. This will be the most spectacular part. Then it'll start leaving the Earth's umbra, and will have left it by 12.20am. Then it will start getting brighter again and by about 1.20am it'll be fully out and bright as normal.
Right now you can already see that the bottom part (the northern part) is darker than the rest.
