Facebook Is Not Your Friend

I did it. I gave in. I told myself I'd never do it, but I've done it. I've signed up to Facebook. I'm now on TWO internet social group things.

There're a lot more people on Facebook than I was expecting. It seems pretty much everyone's on there! Yay for the CIA keeping tabs on everyone.

First week, second semester. It was ok. The semester's looking to be ok. I'm looking forward to getting out of uni though.

Unfortunately that's going to be slightly harder than I thought. Instead of taking 2 papers next semester I'm going to be taking 4. That's because I failed 2 papers last semester! One of them was that paper I hate above anything else - Engineering Management. Having to study for that again is going to be torture.

I'm extremely bored and really sleepy for some reason. The boredom is pretty easy to explain, but I don't know why I'm so tired!

My family's finally upgrading from the worst possible plan available in New Zealand. A while ago, while I was trying to pursuade my mum that we needed to upgrade, I did a bit of working out, and showed her that the plan we're on (Telecom's 6GB/month for $50/month) is the worst value for money plan of all the plans available in New Zealand.

Now we're changing our phone provider to Vodafone, who'll charge us about $5 or $10 less a month for the phone, as well as give us 20GB a month internet for the same price as Telecom's 6GB!

Even better, Telecom rang up a few days ago to say they'd noticed we're conistently going way over our cap. They suggested we upgrade to their 10GB a month plan for an extra $10 a month more or something. When my dad told them we're changing to Vodafone the guy was pretty bummed out. Serves them right though if they're loosing customers to Vodafone. Serves them right for being at the bottom of the barrel. Maybe they'll upgrade their service and offers from rock bottom.
