Cars and Love Songs

I haven't been blogging much recently. Can't really say why - I guess it just hasn't really occurred to me as something to do. But there's no point advertising my blog address in my msn name if there's nothing here for people to read . . .

FINALLY got my WOF today!! It was due on the 3rd of July, and I've barely driven since then, which has sucked balls. I didn't get a wof before Liam and I lowered my car, and after lowering it I couldn't get a wof without getting it certified. Unfortunately certing costs about $550, unless you're in a group of 5 or more, in which case it only costs about $400 or something. So there's a group of us who're organising to get certed at the same time, but it doesn't look like it's gonna be happening for a while. Yesterday though, Liam offered to help me raise it again, so we did, and I've FINALLY got my wof!!! It made me SO happy to get it and finally be able to drive again!!

While I'm here, here's some lyrics from another love song. I pull love songs out occasionally, and post lyrics to them, just for the fun of it. It's only part of the lyrics.

Closer to my heart
All over but never apart
I lost you
Will I ever have you back
Will I ever have you back

I loved you
Will I ever love you again
Will I ever love you again
Will I ever love you again
I loved you
Will I ever love you again

For your love
I would do anything

Being as crazily into trance and house as I am, it's only logical that I should have started getting into producing my own. For the last few months I've been practicing basic DJing - mixing tracks and stuff. It's getting to the point where I'm working on making something that's close to being good enough to hand around to anyone who's interested and wants a good beat to party to. I'm not just working on mixing trance and stuff, but more mainstream club music as well - the sorta stuff you would hear in Degree or somewhere. That love song that I just posted about will definitely be in one of the mixes somewhere . . .

The next skill to start working on is remixing.

Other than that, uni's average, pretty much can't wait to get out anymore. My summary of uni goes like this:
First year - cool; second year - awesome; third year - ok; fourth year - meh. And I've still got at one more semester after this (provided I don't fail any papers this semester).

I lost you
Will I ever have you back
Will I ever have you back
