Electricalism
Required:
1x Toggle switch
2x Acrylic tubes
2x 5-packs of blue LEDs
1x 5m length of wire
I've found sources for the wire, the LEDs, and the switch, but no-one seems to sell acrylic tubing! I suppose it's not exactly a common thing to ask for, but you'd think Bunnings or someone would sell plastic tubing.
What I'm trying to do is add some lights to the inside of my car. The idea I have is to put loops of LEDs under each of the front seats that come on whenever the central interior light is on. Unfortunately the wiring would be a bastard, because the switch is in the middle of the car ceiling, and i'd have to run the wires from that to under the seats. That would probably involve taking the ceiling off, which is not something I'm prepared to do. So I'm probably going to have to find somewhere else to wire it, and use a switch to manually turn the lights on and off.
Other than that there really isn't much happening at the moment. Today is my first day off work since the 5th! I've worked every night since then. No wonder there isn't much happening.
I gotta start getting organised for uni again. I need to cancel my conjoint, see which ever course co-ordinator is in charge of split-part 3/4 students, and then enrol. I also want to see if I can find a part-time engineering weekend job, but unfortunately most engineering places are closed in the weekends. Ugh.
Bye
